HIKO Nose Threadlift

Also known as the ‘lunchtime nose threadlift’

HIKO Nose Threadlift – The instant ‘non-surgical nose-job’ that gives natural results to harmonize with the rest of your facial features.

The HIKO nose threadlift is widely popular in Seoul, and known as the ‘lunchtime nose threadlift’, creating sharper and more defined noses instantly. It is a relatively quick procedure that can be completed within the lunch hour, with almost no downtime and gives instant natural looking results. It is easy to understand why this ‘quick-fix’ has been widely adopted as an option to give height and definition for Asian noses. Results are instant, and you can return to your day after the procedure.

The HIKO nose threadlift is an elegant technique using absorbable fine threads to enhance the look of your nose. It is possible to achieve a higher, straighter and more defined nose without undergoing surgery. This nose threadlift technique is commonly used to lift low nose bridges, create a sharper nose tip. A HIKO nose threadlift is not the same as Rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty requires surgery with downtime, costs significantly more and comes with certain risks. However the results for Rhinoplasty are permanent.

Here is how HIKO nose threadlift works:

  1. Absorbable fine threads called PDO (polydioxanone) are inserted by the doctor into the nose to enhance the bridge, body and tip.

2. PDOs are inserted at the bridge, nose tip to enhance. PDO stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, which produces a volumizing and lifting effect.

The Procedure

We apply local anesthetic (painkillers) to numb the procedure site. The doctor would then insert PDO nose threads to lift, contour and sculpt your nose. That completes the procedure and your nose is lifted instantly.

Nose threadlift must be performed by a skilled doctor to ensure that threads are inserted so that they are not visible yet not too deep that it may cause discomfort. Also, a skilled practitioner can judge how many threads are required for each nose. No two noses are alike, hence the treatment must be tailored for each individual. Our aim is to give natural looking results that harmonize with the rest of your facial features.

FAQs

A HIKO nose threadlift can last 12 to 18 months. For most patients, only one session is required, unless the patient desires more pronounced results, then top ups may be needed. For optimum results, a top up after 12 months is recommended.

  • Injection marks that would heal with proper care.
  • Risk of infection, hence it is important to do this in a medical clinic with a skilled practitioner.
  • Soreness of the nose for a few days.

The procedure is not painful, and is well tolerated by many. However, you may experience soreness at the procedure site for 2 – 3 days after.

Nose filler involves using injectable dermal fillers to enhance the nose bridge and nose tip. It has the same advantages of HIKO nose threadlift – no downtime, no surgery, lower cost than Rhinoplasty. And sometimes, depending on the candidate, nose fillers and nose threads are used hand in hand to create desired results.

This would depend on your current nose profile and desired outcome. General nose contouring in a straight nose can benefit from doing noselifts. Noses with dorsal humps would require fillers. Combining both nose fillers and nose threadlift can give an obvious 3D effect. If you are looking for permanent results, and can afford the downtime, you can consider rhinoplasty.

This procedure is suitable for men and women who have not had rhinoplasty or permanent fillers. It is recommended for individuals that wants to:

  • Straighten the nose profile
  • Lift nose bridge
  • Lift nose tip
